Emily, Grammy and Gramps on Christmas

We had such a great Christmas. We took our girls to see Santa. Madi and Emily loved it and told Santa exactly what they wanted. Madi wanted a guitar and Emily wanted makeup. Avery on the other hand wanted nothing to do with Santa. She was so sad!!
On Christmas Eve we made Christmas cookies, we had so much fun!! That night we went to dinner and then came home to our Christmas Eve tradition which is opening new pajamas. I love traditions!! Then we set out some cookies and milk for Santa and went to bed. Christmas morning was so sweet, I loved seeing my girls open their presents. They loved everything they got and were very appreciative. Emily was a little bit faster then everyone else at opening her gifts so she was a little confused as to why the other girls still had presents to open. Madi got her guitar, Emily got makeup and Avery got a sit and spin. We were able to stay and play with the kids things for the morning into the afternoon and we really enjoyed that. Later we went to my Mom's house. My sister from Texas comes home every Christmas so we were able to spend time with her family which was great. We were able to have a family dinner at our house the day after Christmas, it was yummy! It was like another Thanksgiving. It has been great having my kids home for Christmas break. I do not want them to go back!! We are so greatful for the opportunity we have had to reflect on Christ and his life. We hope your CHRISTmas was wonderrful too.

My Sister did it!!!

Today is a wonderful day for our Family. My Sister who lives in Texas had her graduation from the University of Dallas Texas. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. YEAH!!! I am so proud of her and all she went through to get this degree. She is a great Mother and Wife. During this time of her life she and her husband decided that she should go on and finish her degree even though it was going to be an inconvenience on their family and her husband's job. Clayton was great to be so willing to step in and do what was necessary to get Pamela where she wanted to be which is graduated. Every time I would talk to my sister which would be at night after her son was in bed she would be doing something for school so she did not have to take the time away from little Oliver. What a great Mother!!!! I am excited to be able to talk to her more often. My Mom and Dad were able to be there with them, but sadly we were not. Although thanks to the great Internet we were able to watch it and hear it. Our whole family gathered around the computer to cheer and even shed some tears when we saw our Aunt Pamela get her degree. We are so proud of you!! Congratulations.

My Baby....

Avery was born December 4, 2006. She turned two a few days ago and we cannot believe it. These two years we have had her in our lives have went by so fast and she has truly blessed our home. Avery is a sweet little girl whom everyone loves. I took Avery to her new nursery class a few Sunday's ago and when I came back to get her all her teacher's said is " She is such an Angel". Avery loves to make you laugh, she wants to make you happy when you are sad, she has the cutest laugh that is contagious, the brightest smile and she loves to sing songs anytime anyplace. We love our sweet Avery. We are so proud of her she is a great sister and daughter.
Avery we love you, Mommy, Daddy, Madi, Emily and your soon to be Baby sister.
