my beautiful babies....
We have been waiting for a finished yard and fence for tooooooooo long, a year and a half to be
exact. Now we finally have both. My girls are loving it!! I am loving it as well, I feel comfortable letting my girls play outside in the backyard even while I am not able to be out there. They played in the swimming pool in the backyard on Wednesday and Thursday and they would have today too but it was rainy and cool.
We thought about paying someone to do our yard but Travis decided to put his own sweat into our kids play yard and save ALOT of money. He did have some help from my Dad and my Mom helped with the kids, a couple of great neighbors, and I did help with laying the HEAVY sod. We are so happy that we can now let our kids run around and have fun. This yard is a Great part of our home. Now we just need trees, bushes and flowers. :) Mommy and Daddy love you girls!!!!! P.S Layla you are not able to play in the yard yet, but soon enough my sweet!

Avery's ears...

What a beautiful little girl!

Avery proudly showing her newly pierced ears.

I keep forgetting to write this post. About a month ago I took my kids to the mall and while we were there I asked Emily if she wanted to get her ears pierced, she always talks about it. She said she wanted to wait to get them pierced until her birthday but she wanted to pick the earings out that she wanted. So we made our way over to the piercing pagoda in South Towne Mall where she did pick the ones she wants to have. I noticed Avery looking quite interested so I asked her if she wanted to get her ears pierced, she responded with YES!! I was SHOCKED! I thought for sure she would say NO since Emily was so resistant to it. I asked her numerous times, told her it was going to hurt and she still wanted them. So she picked her pink earings out and climbed into the chair where again I reminded her it was going to hurt. And she still wanted them. So they did the little ink dot on her ears and two women pierced my little two year olds ears. She was so brave and cute!! After the piercing she did cry. I picked her up and held her, comforted her and told her how much I love her. I also told her what a big girl she was and how pretty her earings were. She wanted to see her earings in a mirror so they gave Avery one and she said they were pretty and the tears stopped then the women working gave all of my girls a sucker. I can't believe my baby Avery is such a daring girl!! The rest of the day Emily was kind of obsessed with Avery, she wants them so bad. She is just to scared. She kept referring to Avery as the ear pierced girl and when I put Avery to bed that night Avery said "can you say goodnight ear pierced girl"? I love that little sweetie!!

Layla's Blessing

I love, love, love this tiny baby!! She is another one of our beautiful princess's. We blessed Layla yesterday. She did very well and looked very Beautiful. Travis gave her a beautiful blessing in it he blessed her with a missionary disposition and to remember that our loving Heavenly Father loves all of his children. He also blessed her to enjoy the promptings of the spirit, and to know that Jesus is the Christ. He always gives beautiful blessings to our children. After we came back to our home for food. Layla you are a sweet baby and we love you so much!
