Layla is 6 months

My sweet Layla is 6 months already. We love this little baby!! She is such a FUN little one. She was definetly not the easiest baby for the first months but she is one of the loves of our lives and she is so much easier now. We are so blessed to have her as a part of our Family. Layla is sitting up, rolling some and very verbal she is so loud in church sometimes that I have to get up and leave the room so other people can hear. And I do not mean crying she is aaaaaaahhhhhhhh....ing, maaaaaahhhhhhhhh.....ing and things. She does not really like baby food yet. I keep trying but still a no go. Although she does really want our food. I started supplementing with her at about 4 and 1/2 months old. And she loves that bottle, it just keeps giving. I did not have to do that with any of my other kids so that was kind of sad for me but when I saw how happy it made her I was ok with it. At layla's 6 month visit she weighed

14.77 LBS. which is the 23rd percentile, her length was 25.0 inches which is the 21st percentile and her head is 17.4 inches which is the 89th percentile. My kids got their big heads from me. I hate to put hats on due to them being to tight on my head. Madi, Emily and Avery love Layla soooo much they are so cute with her. I have the best girls!! Mommy and Daddy love you sweet Layla.

First day of first grade and preschool.

My Madi and Emily went back to school and they were both so excited. Madi is in first grade and loves it. Her teachers name is Mrs. Shumway, her school is brand new and just down the street from us. So we are all loving to be able to walk to and from school. Emily is in Learning Dynamics this year which is a little bit of a drive but she loves it. Her teachers name is Miss Steiner. She is a little poser as you can see. Where does the time go? My babies are so big!

Emily Bella is 5......

HaPpY HaPpY Birthday!!! My princess Emily turned 5 on Friday August 14th. She is such a girly girl! Emily requested einstein bagels for breakfast so I woke Travis up early on her day and he was off to go get them. When she woke up her Daddy was still gone but he did return home shortly after. So we ate breakfast and then proceeded to watch Emily open her Birthday presents. Emily recieved a princess cowgirl hat from Madi that she likes to claim she made :). Avery gave Emily a necklace and Layla gave Emily some makeup. Mommy and Daddy gave Emily an outfit, skirt, dance outfit and alot of jewelry. After that we had to get ready for Emily's friend party. I can't believe that I have little girls old enough for friend parties, but I do. She had so much fun!! I think all of the other kids did too. After the friend party Emily wanted Daddy to take Madi, Avery and herself swimming at the legacy center. So that is what she got. I stayed home with Layla so she could get her nap. After swimming we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner. Which Emily chose because she loves the trolley you sit in which we were able to sit in and the mizethera cheese spaghetti and last but not least the ice cream. Then we came back for more cake with Grammy and Gramps. I love you so much my sweetheart! You are so much fun. I cant believe it was 5 years ago that we brought you home from the hospital. You are such a smartie, I love doing your reading lessons with you and teaching you new things. Thanks for being one of my little princess's.

Madi's friend party

Madi had her friend party July 17th. They had so much fun!! Some of our good friends let us barrow their slide and the kids LOVED it! We also had a good friend do facepainting at the party which was exciting for all of the kids. We played water games, had a bbq and cupcakes. Madi had a great day! Thanks to all for coming and for the generous gifts as well.

Two Teeth...

My baby is 4 months old now and she has two teeth . I can't believe it!! I was playing around with Layla earlier this month and just happend to put my finger in her mouth and there they were. "TWO TEETH". All of my other girls did not start getting teeth until 6 months. So I was really quite shocked. She is my last baby :( and she is growing up way to fast. I think it is so much more noticeable how fast time flies now that I know she will quite possibly be the last baby I will raise. Layla is eating oatmeal baby cereal and loving it. She also loves to have little sips of water afterwords. So cute!! Layla is a Beautiful baby!! We love you so much!!

What a cute cake, and Beautiful girl. 7 really? WOW!

Today is Madi's birthday, I can't believe she is 7. Time really does go by fast. I can remember being pregnant with her and being so sick. I remember being in Labor for two days and 3 trips to the hospital only to be sent home twice since I was not dilating. I remember not wanting to go back the third time for fear they would send me home again. The first epidural did not work so they had to take it out and give me a new one. And as soon as they did I could not feel anything I remember not being able to find my legs when the Dr. told me to grab them to push. That was a GREAT epidural. I remember the moment she came out Travis, my Mom and I were in tears. I could not believe that this amazing creature had just come out of my body. Seven years later Madi is a Wonderful daughter and a great big sister to Emily, Avery, and Layla. Madi loves to play the piano and dance. She knew how to read before she went to kindergarten, and she loves school. And tries hard at everything she does. Anyone who meets Madi knows what a truly sweet spirit she is. We love you Madi!! Happy Birthday

Layla is jabbering Alot! This morning when she woke up I grabbed her and brought her into bed with us. After she ate Travis and I were talking to her and I kid you not she said "MOM". How lucky am I to have a baby that is Four months Today say my name? She loves to talk to us and gives us Alot of smiles too. We love that. Layla is a strong baby, she loves to stand up and tries to sit up. She is beautiful!! She looks alot like Madi to Travis and I. Although she has gorgeous blue eyes like Avery and I think she will have blonde hair like her too. She loves her big sisters, you can see it in her eyes and smile everytime they get close to her. Layla is a sweet, beautiful, tasty, fun, cudly and did I mention beautiful baby =). We love our Layla!!!
