John and Travis ( The Book of Mormon man) from almost 9 years ago.
Daddy with his two sweeties!
Daddy's Girls!!!
Yesterday was a big day at our house. Travis turned the big 30!!
Our life together.
We have been married for 8 years and we dated for 5 years before we got married. Travis was born and raised in Utah. He was raised by his Grandparents, Father, Mother and Step Dad. We met the summer before our Junior year in high school and started dating. He became a part of my family very quickly. Everyone loved him. We dated through high school and into college.
Travis used to work at a lumber yard and had a good friend who talked to him about the church and gave him a Book of Mormon. Our lives were changed!! Travis read the Book of Mormon which made me curious and I soon after read it. Four months later we were engaged and four months after that we were married in the Salt Lake Temple.
Travis went to school full time and worked full time. I was lucky enough to be able to take care of my sweet nephew and Niece. Whom I love so much!! We got pregnant with our first daughter Madi and had her two months after Travis graduated with his Bachelors Degree. Sixteen months later we bought our first house. Then 9 months later we had our second daughter Emily. Two years later we had our third daughter Avery, 6 months later we rented a twin home while we built a new home and 7 months later we moved into our current home. We are now expecting our fourth daughter and we are very excited to welcome her into our hearts.
I am just posting some of the wonderful things that have happened in our lives. There have definitely been hard times for us but they have made us stronger and grateful for the good. We are grateful for all of our family and friends that keep us going in good and in bad. Thanks!!
Last weekend I was able to pull off a surprise party for Travis. I had always wanted to do this for him. Then figured his 30th was a perfect time. I invited some of his good friends from work, and some of our close friends. We had such a great time. Travis was truly grateful to have so many people that would take time out of their lives to come be with us.
I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband who loves his family. You are a great Dad and I really admire that. Our girls love you and I do too. Happy Birthday!!
