My Sister did it!!!

Today is a wonderful day for our Family. My Sister who lives in Texas had her graduation from the University of Dallas Texas. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. YEAH!!! I am so proud of her and all she went through to get this degree. She is a great Mother and Wife. During this time of her life she and her husband decided that she should go on and finish her degree even though it was going to be an inconvenience on their family and her husband's job. Clayton was great to be so willing to step in and do what was necessary to get Pamela where she wanted to be which is graduated. Every time I would talk to my sister which would be at night after her son was in bed she would be doing something for school so she did not have to take the time away from little Oliver. What a great Mother!!!! I am excited to be able to talk to her more often. My Mom and Dad were able to be there with them, but sadly we were not. Although thanks to the great Internet we were able to watch it and hear it. Our whole family gathered around the computer to cheer and even shed some tears when we saw our Aunt Pamela get her degree. We are so proud of you!! Congratulations.

My Baby....

Avery was born December 4, 2006. She turned two a few days ago and we cannot believe it. These two years we have had her in our lives have went by so fast and she has truly blessed our home. Avery is a sweet little girl whom everyone loves. I took Avery to her new nursery class a few Sunday's ago and when I came back to get her all her teacher's said is " She is such an Angel". Avery loves to make you laugh, she wants to make you happy when you are sad, she has the cutest laugh that is contagious, the brightest smile and she loves to sing songs anytime anyplace. We love our sweet Avery. We are so proud of her she is a great sister and daughter.
Avery we love you, Mommy, Daddy, Madi, Emily and your soon to be Baby sister.

NKOTB

Fifteen plus years ago I was in love with Jordan Knight from the New Kids On The Block. And this past Saturday I was able to go to their concert with some of my friends. We had a blast it took me back. They put on a great concert and it was so fun to hear the songs that amazingly enough after so many years we still knew the words to. :) Some may make fun but I know you were all probably New Kids fans at one point.

John and Travis ( The Book of Mormon man) from almost 9 years ago.

Daddy with his two sweeties!

Daddy's Girls!!!

Yesterday was a big day at our house. Travis turned the big 30!!
Our life together.
We have been married for 8 years and we dated for 5 years before we got married. Travis was born and raised in Utah. He was raised by his Grandparents, Father, Mother and Step Dad. We met the summer before our Junior year in high school and started dating. He became a part of my family very quickly. Everyone loved him. We dated through high school and into college.
Travis used to work at a lumber yard and had a good friend who talked to him about the church and gave him a Book of Mormon. Our lives were changed!! Travis read the Book of Mormon which made me curious and I soon after read it. Four months later we were engaged and four months after that we were married in the Salt Lake Temple.
Travis went to school full time and worked full time. I was lucky enough to be able to take care of my sweet nephew and Niece. Whom I love so much!! We got pregnant with our first daughter Madi and had her two months after Travis graduated with his Bachelors Degree. Sixteen months later we bought our first house. Then 9 months later we had our second daughter Emily. Two years later we had our third daughter Avery, 6 months later we rented a twin home while we built a new home and 7 months later we moved into our current home. We are now expecting our fourth daughter and we are very excited to welcome her into our hearts.
I am just posting some of the wonderful things that have happened in our lives. There have definitely been hard times for us but they have made us stronger and grateful for the good. We are grateful for all of our family and friends that keep us going in good and in bad. Thanks!!
Last weekend I was able to pull off a surprise party for Travis. I had always wanted to do this for him. Then figured his 30th was a perfect time. I invited some of his good friends from work, and some of our close friends. We had such a great time. Travis was truly grateful to have so many people that would take time out of their lives to come be with us.
I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband who loves his family. You are a great Dad and I really admire that. Our girls love you and I do too. Happy Birthday!!
