Madi's first recital

Travis and I have never taken piano or any other musical instrument lessons but we knew we wanted our kids to. We have talked to them about it since they were tiny. Anyways, this last Fall we bought a piano so that they could take lessons. Then just this last Febuary (3 months ago) we signed Madi up and she LOVES it. I am the one that practices the music with her so I am learning as well, which I love doing with my Madi. Yesterday she had her first piano recital and did an awesome job. Madi was not even the slightest bit nervous about performing in front of the 30 plus people watching. I get very nervous when I am put in a situation like that so I am truely impressed!!! We are so proud of her. We love you!!!!!! (She played Catch Me If You Can and Head Shoulders Knees and Toes).

Please tell Madi that her Aunt Pamela is so very proud of her. I loved watching the video and seeing all the pictures, too. Her dress was so cute and grown up. Oh, and btw, you look great!

That is so neat. I would love by boys to learn how to play. I can't believe she wasn't nervous. I would have been going crazy. You need to jump over to my blog and guess the weight and sex of the baby before next week. There is a prize for the winner.

I can not believe she played my two faverite songs. I am so lucky to have such a talented grand daughter. I will love you for ever and ever.
