I thought you all might like to know that today Travis got a new calling!! We got the call on Friday night that we needed to come meet with the first counselor in the stake presidency Sunday morning and I knew right away that he was going back into the Elders quorum. He is the first counselor in the Elders quorum presidency. We are happy and willing and wanting to serve. He will do a great job. Travis was the second counselor in the Eldres quorum when we lived in Pilgrims Landing. So I think we have some sort of an idea what it will be like.

Congrats Travis. He will do a great job. By the way, everytime I see your girls it makes me sad because I want to be there hanging out with them. So cute. Love the Halloween costumes! I miss you guys!
So I wasn't to far off. I'm really surprised they called you into the stake offices. Why didn't they just talk to you in a closet hours before reading him in. You do know the first counselor does just as much as much as the president just minus a few Sunday meetings. This is just preparing him for his calling as bishop. Let me know what night he does visites then we can stay up all night on the phone. You really helped me get through some long Wednesdays when Landon was out.
Michele, Your family is so cute. That is awesome about Travis' new calling. Anytime they call a mom or a dad they call a whole family so congratulations to all of you. It's so awesome to have a husband who loves the Lord and is willing to serve Him. I love your Blog. Thanks for sending it!
